The Street Machine Summernats Car Festival is "More than a car show". It is a national celebration of spectacular customised, modified street machines, hot rods, sport compacts, factory muscle cars and other special interest vehicles. Over the three-four days, cars can be seen cruising, lined up on show or performing in a variety of exciting events.

The Summernats offers over 160 exhibitors presenting the latest performance products and vendors offering a variety of food and drinks to suit all tastes. Entertainment ranges from live bands and a beauty pageant to special vehicle performances and a spectacular stunt and fireworks show Saturday night.
