Mission Statement

  1. To promote and maximise the health and well-being of individuals, families and communities affected by Alcohol and Other Drug related harms.
  2. To improve health, social and economic outcomes by reducing the harmful effects of illicit drug use in the ACT and region.

Aims

  3. To implement intervention, assistance and support services to drug dependant persons, their significant others, extended families and the broader community
  4. To utilise evidence based community education methodologies to minimise the adverse community impact of drug misuse.

Objectives

  1. Assist to minimize the new uptake of harmful drug use

  3. Minimise drug related harm to the community
  4. Promote positive health outcomes for drug users
  5. Deliver all services in an environment of best practice
  6. Monitor, evaluate and report service output and outcomes

  1. Provide non-judgemental quality services, advocacy and support to drug users and their families
  2. Minimise drug related harm for the individual, their families and the community
  3. Promote and provide opportunities for positive health outcomes and choices for drug users and their families
  4. Inform and educate the individual and the wider community and continue to build capacity regarding drug use and related issues
  5. Operate an efficient, accountable and ethical organisation
